The oval is the most traditional shape for a memorial portrait, and for good reason: it frames a face the way a locket does, gently and without distraction. Our Oval Memorial Tile is cut from polished jet black granite and custom engraved with the photograph and words you choose.

Ovals are often set into an existing headstone or monument as a portrait insert, but they are just as at home on a shelf, in a shadow box or in a garden bed. Five sizes let you match the space you have in mind.

How it works

    Within two business days we email a proof of the engraving. Ask for as many changes as you need; if we hear nothing within 48 hours we take it as approved.
