How do I send you my photo?

Upload it right on the product page while you personalize your memorial: JPG, PNG, HEIC or PDF, up to 25 MB, straight from your phone or computer. If you have not chosen a photo yet, you can add it from your bag before checkout, or choose to send it later and we will email you a secure upload link straight after your order.

What kind of photo works best?

A clear, well-lit photograph where the face fills a good part of the frame. Phone photos are fine. We will let you know if a photo will not engrave well and suggest alternatives.

Can you remove the background or other people from a photo?

Yes. We prepare every photograph for engraving, which usually includes softening or removing the background. If you would like someone cropped out, tell us in the inscription notes.

What does pre-order mean?

For now, every memorial is sold as a pre-order. You order and pay as usual, we email your proof within two business days of receiving your photo, and your memorial ships within 5–6 weeks of your approving it. You can cancel for a full refund any time before you approve your proof. Not ready to pre-order? Choose Notify Me When In Stock on the last step of any product page and we will email you as soon as it is in stock.

How long does it take?

You will receive a proof within two business days of receiving your photo. After approval, your pre-order is engraved, packed and shipped within 5–6 weeks. Rush Production moves it to the front of the line, ahead of standard pre-orders.

Will the engraving fade outdoors?

No. Engraving removes the polished surface of the granite to reveal the lighter stone beneath. It is permanent and unaffected by sun, rain or frost.

Can I see it before it is engraved?

Always. We email a proof before anything is engraved, and you can ask for as many changes as you need. If we have not heard back within 48 hours of sending the proof, we treat it as approved and begin engraving. The email links to your own proof page, where you approve it, ask for changes or send a different photograph.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not yet. Shipping within the United States is $8, and free on orders over $100.

What if it arrives damaged?

Granite is packed with great care, but if anything arrives damaged, email us a photo within seven days and we will replace it at no charge.
