How It Works

Three gentle steps, and you see a proof before anything is engraved.

Every memorial we make begins with a photograph and a few words, and ends as a piece of polished granite on a mantel, a bedside table or a grave. Between the two there are three gentle steps, and you see exactly how it will look before anything is engraved.

Upload your photo

Choose the piece and the size that suit where it will live, then add their name, their dates and any words you would like engraved. Upload your favorite photograph of them right there on the product page. A clear, well-lit photo where their face fills a good part of the frame works best, and a phone photo is fine.

Approve your proof

Within two business days we email a proof showing exactly how the engraving will look on the stone: the portrait, the name, the dates and the words, laid out by hand. Ask for as many changes as you need. If we have not heard back within 48 hours of sending the proof, we treat it as approved and begin engraving, so please reply if you would like anything changed.

Cherish them forever

Once you approve the proof, engraving and careful packing take three to five business days. Shipping within the United States is free on orders over $100, and we email you tracking the day your memorial leaves our studio. Then place it where they always were.
