Clean, modern lines for a memorial that will stand for decades. The Chamfered Mini Memorial is a scaled replica of one of the most popular full-size monument designs: a polished jet black granite upright with a gently arched top and softly cut corners, on its own rock-edged base, custom engraved with their portrait, their name and the words you want to keep.

Granite holds an engraving with remarkable detail. A photograph comes through with soft, lifelike tone, and lettering stays crisp for generations, indoors or out. About sixteen inches wide, it holds a mantel or a console on its own, marks a place in a garden bed or on a patio, and sits directly on the ground, so it can stand at a resting place that has no stone of its own.

Every memorial is engraved to order. Upload your favourite photo, tell us the name, the dates and the words you would like, and we will send a proof before anything is engraved.

How it works

Three gentle steps

  1. A daughter at the kitchen table holding a phone that shows a photo of her smiling white-haired father above an Upload button

    1. Upload your photo

Choose a size, add their name, dates and words, and upload your favorite photo of them. Then place your order.

  2. A laptop on a desk showing the design proof of a black granite heart memorial tile engraved with a man’s portrait above an Approved button

    2. Approve your proof

Within two business days we email a proof of the engraving. Ask for as many changes as you need; if we hear nothing within 48 hours we take it as approved.

  3. The finished engraved black granite heart memorial tile on a small red easel on a white mantel beside a lit candle, a white ranunculus and a framed family photo

    3. Cherish them forever

Your pre-order is engraved and shipped within 5–6 weeks of your approval, with tracking by email; Rush Production puts it first in line. Place it where they always were.
